AMAZING!! FOUR THINGS YOU PROBABLY NEVER KNEW YOUR MOBILE PHONE COULD DO!!!!

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life safer or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things you can do with it;

FIRST; Emergency

The emergency number worldwide for all mobile phones is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and your mobile will search any existing network in your area to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. This works on all phones worldwide and is free. It is the equivalent of 0000.

SECOND; Have you locked your keys in the car?

Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone. If perhaps you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be thousands of miles away, and you can reach someone who has the other remote to your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

THIRD; Hidden Battery Power

To activate, press the keys *3370#, do this when the phone is almost dead. Your mobile will restart in a special way with this new reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery life. This reserve will get recharged when you charge your mobile next time. Note this secret is in the fine print in most phone manuals. Most people however skip this information without realizing it.

FOURTH; How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone.

To check your mobile phone serial number, key in the following digits on your phone; *06#. A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your phone ever gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, the phone will totally be useless. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can neither use nor sell it. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones. Note this secret is also in the fine print of most mobile phone manuals. It was created for the very purpose of trying to prevent phones from being stolen.

Also, ATM PIN number reversal,

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your PIN then # in reverse. For example, if your PIN number is 1234, then you would input 4321. The ATM system recognizes that your PIN number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to the location. All ATM carry this emergency sequence by law.

Hope you find this hint very useful!

Finance: Net Present Value in the real sense.

Net Present Value (NPV)...... The difference between the present value of the future cash flows from an investment and the amount of investment. Present value of the expected cash flows is computed by discounting them at the required rate of return. For example, an investment of $1,000 today at 10 percent will yield $1,100 at the end of the year; therefore, the present value of $1,100 at the desired rate of return (10 percent) is $1,000. The amount of investment ($1,000 in this example) is deducted from this figure to arrive at net present value which here is zero ($1,000-$1,000). A zero net present value means the project repays original investment plus the required rate of return. A positive net present value means a better return, and a negative net present value indicates unfavourable returns. Net present value takes into account the value of the dollar today compared to the value of the dollar in the future, which is why it is a very important value to look at...

Football: Lazio respond to false age claims of teenager.

Lazio have threatened legal action against those who have questioned the legitimacy of the age of their 17-year-old Cameroonian player Joseph Minala. The Italian side stated that his birth certificate is "absolutely legitimate". Lazio added:   "We reserve the right to take action against those responsible for the protection of the good name of the company and the footballer." The midfielder also issued a statement via the club's website denying he told an African website he was 41. He said: "I have read the alleged statements posted on the website senego.net in which it says I confessed my real age which was different to what was stated in my [official] documents. "They are false statements that have been attributed to me by people who do not know." Minala joined the Rome club last summer and recently played for them in the Viareggio Cup youth tournament.
